Volunteer Cohorts

Our Volunteer Cohorts offer behind-the-scenes support that helps make 826michigan possible! If you are interesting in joining a Volunteer Cohort, be sure to attend an Info Session before filling out that cohort's Google Form. For cohort-related questions, please contact Ariel Kaplowitz Hahn.

Design Cohort

The Design Cohort is a group of volunteer artists, illustrators, graphic designers, and others with skills in the visual arts. We call on members periodically asking for help on specific design projects, based on individuals’ areas of expertise and the frequency they would like to be involved. Please complete this survey to share more about your design interests and abilities.

Editorial Cohort

The Editorial Cohort is a group of volunteer copyeditors, student-writing typists, and chapbook assemblers. We put out general calls to this group when we have projects in any of these areas, and provide information on the project details and timeline. Fill out this Google Form if you'd like to be a part of the Editorial Cohort!

Translation Cohort

The Translation Cohort is a group of volunteers with writing, reading, and/or speaking abilities in non-English languages. We call on members periodically asking for help on specific translation projects, based on individuals’ areas of expertise and the frequency they would like to be involved.
